Helping Louisiana rebuild, yet again, NBC Nightly News August, 2012
Connie Uddo was devastated when her home was devoured by Katrina, but she faced the damage head-on by establishing a volunteer organization to help people rebuild. Now that same nonprofit is helping Isaac’s victims. NBC’s Kate Snow reports.
As the City of New Orleans and the Gulf region braced for Hurricane Isaac, Connie Uddo was preparing her home and office at the St. Paul’s Homecoming Center. She received a visit from Kate Snow, journalist for NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams.
